In March, 2006, the economic developers and community leaders of Malvern and Hot Spring County joined together to meet the rigorous criteria of being named a "Select Site". Malvern /Hot Spring County's Industrial Park received the distinction of being named a "Select Site" in November 2006.
The select site is "shovel ready" for industrial development. This designation is held by only 14 other sites in the state.
The Hot Spring County Industrial Park is an industrial or business location with 110 acres of prime commercial land adjacent to Interstate 30 with rail access on the property. All environmental and ownership studies are complete and ready for examination.
