    Job Description
    DEPARTMENT: Group Sales
    REPORTS TO: Sales & Marketing Director
    JOB SUMMARY: The position of Account Executive will be responsible for generating maximum revenue to ensure continuing growth and success of our theme and water park.
    •To effectively communicate and sell Magic Springs Theme & Water Park Catered and Non-Catered Outings as well as the Discount Ticket Program with written, verbal (phone) and personal interactive skills
    •Develop, maintain and grow an ongoing sales pipeline through prospecting, cold calling, and cultivating referrals
    •Organize and manage sales territory for most effective use of time and travel
    •Maintain accurate sales call logs, records of sales, budgeted expenses, account status reports, and any other data deemed necessary
    •Responsible for meeting and exceeding all sales numbers as well as the continual growth of these sales numbers on a year to year basis asoutlined by your Director of Sales & Marketing; these numbers are to be achieved through the selling of major ticket programs and the soft ticketarea with programs such as discount partners and coupons
    •Plan, communicate, and coordinate all sales information with park operations to ensure customer satisfaction and return business
    •Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key community and strategic partners as well as attend networking events toharvest sales leads and promote the parks in the local business community
    •Promote a synergistic relationship with team members in all departments and divisions
    •Ensure completion of work responsibilities and special projects in accordance with the designated timeframe, as determined by management
    •Adhere to company ethical requirements, demonstrating the utmost integrity in all professional and personal matters
    •Some travel within each key marketing territory and other special destinations as required
    •All other duties as assigned
    •Demonstrated ability to advance Magic Springs Theme & Water Park core values, through the establishment of positive, respectful relationships and working effectively with all internal and external constituencies
    •Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills; ability to communicate clearly, conciselyand persuasively
    •Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
    •Ability to think ahead and plan over a one-to-two year time span
    •Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
    •Must have the ability to make recommendation to effectively resolve problems or issues and to effect continual improvements by using judgmentthat is in consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation, or government law. Problem analysis and problem resolution atboth a strategic and a function level
    •Willingness to work a variable schedule including some nights, weekends, and holidays
    •Requires highly motivated individual who displays accuracy, thoroughness, and self-monitoring to ensure quality work
    •College Degree and/or experience in sales, special event planning and or promotions preferred
    •Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and internet
    •Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
    •Must be able to stand, stoop, crouch, twist, push, and lift for brief and/or extended periods of time
    •Must be able to walk comfortably throughout the course of the day over various surfaces
    •Must be able to work in all weather conditions including exposure to direct sunlight.
    •Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to or in excess of 30 pounds.
    •Requires manual and bi-manual dexterity, fine and gross motor skills, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing and speech.
    •Frequently works indoors for extended periods of time with moderate business noise including such machines as phones, keyboards, printers and copiers.
