    Leadership Forum "Friend"

                       

     

  • The mission of the Leadership Forum is to provide leadership training; informative community introductions, tours, and engaging interactions; professional networking; and opportunities for service learning. Nominations are open to all segments of our communities within Hot Spring County.

    The Forum is designed to actively engage participants to learn more about themselves and about the qualities of good leadership. This is an exciting hands-on course that will provide tremendous opportunities for highly motivated individuals who seek to:

    • Enhance their professional leadership skills
    • Increase their network of community relationships
    • Obtain a better understanding of local issues and organizations that comprise the region
    • Learn skills to better prepare them for political leadership positions in the county
    • Discover the benefits of service learning for them and their organization

  • If you are interested in participating in the Hot Spring County Leadership Forum for the 2023-2024 year, please print the documents (available on this page), and submit the completed documents, along with an essay to the Malvern/Hot Spring County Chamber of Commerce by August 4, 2023.   The essay topic is listed on the Leadership Forum Application.

  • Mac Glover Servant Leader Scholarship

  • The Hot Spring County Leadership Forum proudly offers the Mac Glover Servant Leader Scholarship to a deserving Hot Spring County high school senior.

    Eligibility

    • High school seniors who reside in Hot Spring County or attend a Hot Spring County school are eligible to apply for a $500 scholarship toward any accredited post high school education.
    • Applicants for the scholarship are expected to have examples of how they engage our community in the service of others.

    Instructions

    • Please complete this form and return to the Malvern/Hot Spring County Chamber of Commerce to be received no later than February 1, 2024.
    • To be considered for the scholarship, you must have a completed application which requires a resume of servant leadership, an essay, and a letter of recommendation.
